Disinfection using Ozone

Disinfection in industrial applications can be done efficiently and effectively with the Mazzei® Injectors and GDT™ ozone technology. Ozone’s effectiveness in inactivating bacteria and virus from water systems is well documented. Today ozone is considered a primary method of disinfection. The Mazzei GDT System can support small and large scale treatment applications through innovative pressurized side stream and/or full flow contacting.

Other Mazzei Disinfection Applications

Disinfection can also be achieved using Mazzei’s patented injection technology with chlorine, hydrogen peroxide, sodium hypochlorite and chlorine gas. Powerful oxidants disinfectants, they are safe and effective. Chlorine’s effectiveness is well known. Hydrogen peroxide (H2OH) is a potent clear and odorless disinfectant. Sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) is a compound that can be effectively used for water purification and on a large scale for surface purification, odor removal and water disinfection.
