Stripping Objectionable Material - VOC Removal

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) can be efficiently stripped by air using the GDT™ Process. The U.S. EPA has recognized aeration as a Best Available Technology (BAT) for these contaminants.

The GDT™ (Gas Degas Technology) Process draws air into the pressurized water to be treated via high efficiency venturi-type Mazzei^® Injectors. The dynamic mixing that takes place at the injector efficiently transfers air (oxygen and nitrogen) into solution and strips unwanted materials. The objectionable materials are removed by the patented degas separator (vented or further processing) before they can go back into solution. Staged recirculation within the GDT™ system allows for enhanced removal rates of the most difficult contaminants.
