Mazzei AirJection® Irrigation (patents 6173526 and 7040839) utilizes the patented Mazzei® Injectors to improve soil aeration by entraining air (in the form of micro-bubbles) into irrigation water delivered through sub-surface drip irrigation (SDI). The added air improves growing conditions by increasing root respiration and microbial activity. These improved soil conditions have shown significant increase in yields.

  • Subsurface drip irrigation
  • Water flow must be 1 GPM – 8 GPM per drip line (3.8 LPM - 30.3 LPM)
  • Terrain must be level to moderately sloped
