Chemigation

Chemigation is the application of agricultural chemicals (fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, soil conditioners, insecticides, etc.) into an irrigation system. Benefits of chemigation include economical application, the potential for precise application due to greater control of delivery, a reduction in soil compaction, and no mechanical damage to crops.
