• Pipeline Flash Reactors™ (PFR) are used in new plant designs to reduce size and cost of downstream contact basins.
• Retrofiting an existing system, the PFR replaces fine bubble diffusion systems to increase basin CT credits and eliminate repair and maintenance costs associated with diffusion stones.
• Spool pieces are constructed of corrosion resistant 316L stainless steel. Mazzei® MTM™ Nozzles are constructed of 316L stainless steel.

The Pipeline Flash Reactor™ utilizes patented technology to provide a high ozone mass transfer in a small footprint design. The gas/liquid mixture from the Mazzei® Injector is then returned to the bulk water in the main pipeline, utilizing high velocity mixing without measurable pressure loss.

| Independent analysis of the first full scale Pipeline Flash Reactor™ revealed an ozone mass transfer rate of 98% (Neeman et al., AWWA 2002 Water Technology Conference). Subsequent systems have been measured at a mass transfer efficiency of 97% and higher. |
